The Miracle Crusade events we hosted in Port Vila were simply outstanding. Pastor Tim Hall ministered under a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit, preaching, teaching and inspiring faith in Christ. Tim is one of the greatest revival preachers of our time. He is both gentle and fierce! He is funny and absolutely serious! He is a friend of sinners and a foe of the devil! Miracles and salvation follow him wherever he ministers.
Bryan Webb, an American missionary based in Santo Island, was Tim’s interpreter again this year. He was amazing!! The locals say he speaks their language better than they do!
The 80-member Planetshakers team from Victoria were exceptional in witnessing, leading people to Christ day and night, and praying for thousands of people for healing. We gave out 9,500 ‘new believer’ pamphlets and books to people who received Christ (and, if we had more available, could have given out about 2,000 more on the final night).
Estimates of the final Sunday night meeting numbered the crowd at 14,000 to 18,000, the largest ever Christian gathering in Vanuatu. One third of the City of Port Vila was there for that one meeting!! Thousands responded to the salvation call and at least 2,000 people indicated that they had received miraculous healing. We saw amazing miracles. Blind receiving sight, deaf hearing, lame walking! It was so incredible to experience the joy of lives transformed!
The Newcastle-based Hillsong band was fantastic! Such talent and energy and love for Jesus. The Ni-Vanuatu people responded with pure JOY to their worship leading.
Guryel Ali from Geelong was once again a favourite, singing memorable Reggae songs!
We also held a three-night Crusade in a nearby village community, leading up to the big week. The Macquarie Life band from Newcastle ministering on these nights were wonderful.
We led daily outreaches at the main city marketplace, reaching hundreds of people each day, taking the Good News of Jesus out to them. Many salvations and miracles happened on the streets, in the hospital, wherever people went!
The weather was beautiful. Not one of the 14 different events was affected by bad weather. Port Vila was visited by the presence of God. People were being healed as they walked to the meetings. We know for sure that every miracle of salvation and physical healing was because “the Power of God was present to heal them.” The final Sunday night program ran from 4:30 to 10:30pm. Six hours of teaching, preaching, praise and worship, praying for thousands!!
We sincerely THANK our own Liberty People team who came (our leaders and volunteers). Our Production Team under Jon’s leadership worked tirelessly. We thank TIM HALL International Ministries for such outstanding ministry and generosity. Tim and Jacque Hall are THE BEST!!! Thanks to missionary Pastor Bryan Webb, Vanuatu’s best interpreter!! Thanks to Geoff and Lillias Foster and the Hillsong team, John Newsome and the Macquarie Life team, Pastor Zoran and the Planetshakers team, Guryel Ali, and our incredible Port Vila staff who worked so tirelessly behind the scenes.
Helen and I want to thank everyone who prayed, everyone who came with us and every Church and family who released your loved-ones to go.
The journey of faith, the commission to take the Good News to the ends of the Earth continues…
Isaiah 42:10 “Sing to the LORD a new song, and His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands and all who live in them… Let them give glory to the LORD, and declare His praise in the coastlands.”
